New Configuration Profiles to help you welcome iOS 9
iOS 9 arrives today, and there’s much to love. Among the new tools for enterprise iOS admins are a 14 new device restrictions that can be installed via MDM. But for many of us, our MDM servers won’t be updated soon enough.
That’s why our staff has carefully created configuration profiles for every new device restriction in iOS 9. We invite you to download the ones you need, and load them up in your MDM. They’ll work even if your server isn’t yet “ready” for iOS 9.
Examples include:
- Lock the device name
- Lock wallpaper
- Prevent the device passcode from being set or being changed
- Disable News
- Manage Enterprise Trust
These won’t have any effect on devices with iOS 8 or below (positive or negative). And take note which ones require supervised devices. The Configuration Profile collection is on our support site now. Please share with the community.
