UPDATE: On October 18, 2023, Imprivata released the 6.1.1 Mac Launchpad that fixes this issue.
Imprivata has discovered an issue when the GroundControl Launchpad is used with the macOS Sonoma release, which is scheduled for release on September 26, 2023. The GroundControl Launchpad will crash when used on macOS Sonoma.
GroundControl Versions Affected
- Any customer using a Mac Launchpad, of any version, who upgrades to macOS Sonoma will be affected by this issue.
- Customers using Windows Launchpads are not affected.
Workaround
Imprivata recommends not upgrading to macOS Sonoma until we provide updated guidance.
Resolution
Imprivata has engaged with Apple to work towards a resolution. We will post additional information as it becomes available.
